After almost ten days of Ghibli wind and oppressive warm dry weather, Winter made its presence felt and appreciated in Benghazi Today. This year there was scarcely a transition of fall in between, it was practically from summer to winter. WELCOME WINTER

Winter is knocking the doors…I believe it is the best of all seasons in Libya…No dust storms(Ghibli),no boiling heat,no suffocating humidity,and no spring red eyes or allergies..Just the cold and the rain…..along with the mud of course..
May God make it a good year for our home

ahh thank god the gibli season is over…how i miss benghazi terribly…inshallah winter is good for u as here in qatar there is no such thing as winter or rain.

Hello Dear Ghiriani , I remember last year , when we went together to Ain Al Ziana to take pics of the clouds and that day was the winter coming in Benghazi too , and i did a post about it just like u did now , that was a nice day that we had , and now I am in Canada and I welcomed the winter much sooner than last year, It is 1 degree her at night and almost 6 to 10 degree at day time , it is starting to be really cold , they said there might be some snow this month , I hope i will touch the snow before i come back to Benghazi …
Nice post and nice pics , Glad the the Gebli ended now and it is started to be fresh again ..

BC winter is my best of seasons as well. 3abtash thanks for your comment, and yes, the Ghibli is over and Benghazi has been cleaned from its dust and misery.Besheshentra, I surely remember that day last year, but it was in October. By the way, last time I visited Ain Zaiana in Ramadan, nothing has changed, no project started and the sign is going to be wiped out by the Ghibli! Good luck with the Snow.
